Linda Taylor

Ken Wright, State Bank of Bement President, presented Melissa Lincicum with a Visa Gift Card.

Melissa Lincicum was honored on February 2, as Bement High School January Student of the Month.

Julie Reynolds, FCCLA advisor commented, “Melissa works very hard at everything she does.  She is genuine and has a great deal of empathy for others.  As FCCLA President, she is very organized and ran Bement’s first Homelessness Awareness Week.  She is always willing to help with whatever needs done and constantly puts the needs of others ahead of her own.”  Melissa is the daughter of Frank and Loretta Lincicum of Bement.

The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement.  Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.  This award was announced during an assembly where Melissa was presented a certificate by Doug Kepley, BHS Principal, and a gift card from the State Bank of Bement presented by Ken Wright.
